Installation Instructions
This page will walk you through step by step how to install the presets for use on your phone in the free Lightroom CC app.
*Please note you will receive an email from [email protected] that contains the link to your download. If you do not receive this email; check your spam folder or search for emails from that address. If not there contact us to let us know!
1. Download the Lightroom CC app for your device!
2. You will need to download the preset files to your computer first – save them somewhere on your computer and back them up! Doing this ensures that, if you lose your phone, break your phone, get a new phone – you will still have access to the presets with a backup on your computer!
Before we start with getting them on your phone, don't forget to unzip the downloaded zip file.
3. you will need to transfer the photo files (dng files) to your phone. You can; email them to yourself, use airdrop, or dropbox.
4. Once you have the dng files saved to your phone in your camera roll (they will look blank - don’t worry they are supposed to, your camera roll cannot read the dng files but lightroom can.
Open the Lightroom CC app on your phone
5. click the + sign to create a new album for your SBACpresets. You will see a pop up at the bottom prompting you to create an album or a folder - select "create album"
6. Give your album a name - we like SBACpresets
7. Click your new album to open it
8. Click the photo+ sign at the bottom to add your files to the album
9. choose camera roll
10. You will see a series of black boxess with “DNG” marked in the center - select those to add to this album in lightroom - click add
once they are loaded into your lightroom album they will look like this with the preset names on them!
DEEP BREATH - ALMOST DONE
11. Click on the first preset in your album to open it up
12. click the three dots in the upper right corner
13. the sub menu will pop up - select create preset
14. For most collections and presets everything is already selected for you - just give the preset its name & click save.
*** For the 1979 Collection you MUST manually select all of the boxes or the presets marked LL will not work properly.
TIME FOR THE FUN STUFF! Add photos to your lightroom app and play with your presets! But - where are they?
slide those editing tools at the bottom all the way over to the right
click “presets” this section will auto default to “color presets”. Click the arrow to open all the folders for presets. This menu will pop up and you want to select “User Presets”
(Please note - when your app updates it will again default to color presets - just select this menu to choose user presets again)
YAY - your SBAC presets are now loaded and ready to go!
Have fun - play around - test them all!
